Appointments Available for 'Give Kids a Smile' Day | Health
The St. Francis School District is reminding families that “Give Kids a Smile” day is coming up.
The program, run through the Minnesota Dental Association, offers free dental care to families who are either uninsured or underinsured. It’s available by appointment in about 200 clinics in Minnesota.
The program takes place on Friday, Feb. 1, and Saturday, Feb. 2. Last year it offered $2 million in dental services to more than 5,000 kids, according to the school district.
Appointments can be scheduled after Jan. 1 by visiting the MDA website, calling 211, or calling 1-800-543-7709.
